Ann Coulter -- The Real Face of the New Conservatives

Now, let me preface this article by saying that I don't mean Conservative in the manner of those of us who believe in family values, reach out to lend a helping hand to those who are down, attend church on Sundays and just want to lower taxes -- for everybody -- and lower government spending on pork issues.

I'm talking Conservative in the manner of the loud mouths who seem to say things because they can. Who jumped on this right-wing band wagon and left those of us who started out as Conservative jumping over to the left side of the fence. These people say anything -- Rush Limbaugh -- Bill O'Reilly -- and claim that there's no spin. They're just speaking the truth, when really they are pandering to the uneducated masses who haven't bothered to pick themselves up by their bootstraps and work their way into a better living and want to blame someone else for the mess their in. I'm referring to the group of Conservatives who believe that if you disagree with them you must be a party to some sort of liberal conspiracy to bring down the country. These are the folks who find the one general who agrees with them and knocks the ones who don't.

But, Ann Coulter, who has written books with ridiculous titles such as, "How to Speak to a Liberal, if you must", has really gone too far, but that's a good thing. She states in her new book, "I'm a genius, you're a moron for buying this book" (kidding, the real title is: "Godless: The Church of Liberalism"), "I've never seen people enjoying their husbands' deaths so much." in reference to four 9/11 widows who have joined together to find answers to their questions.

She has even dubbed these women "The Witches of East Brunswick".

Just who the hell does Ann Coulter think she is?

I'll tell you who I think she is.

I think she's a self-servicing female who doesn't contain an ounce of compassion for her fellow human beings. She disagrees with the widows' views on 9/11 and the state of our great country and she feels the need to slander them in a most outrageous way -- and make money on the whole damn thing. Instead of coming out and debating the women in a rational and honest way, she chooses to bash them and reduce the real tragedy and horror of 9/11 to some sort of side show.

The widows (Kristen Breitweiser, Lorie Van Auken, Mindy Kleinberg and Patty Casazza of New Jersey) "have spent the years since the 2001 terror attacks supporting an independent commission to examine government failures before the attack, and in the 2004 presidential campaign they endorsed Democrat John Kerry." Apparently, speaking out for your beliefs offenders Coulter if your beliefs do not agree with hers.

The women, who have suffered a lost on a scale I can't not even begin to imagine, released this statement: "We have been slandered. Contrary to Ms. Coulter's statements, there was no joy in watching men that we loved burn alive. There was no happiness in telling our children that their fathers were never coming home again. We adored these men and miss them every day."

God Bless Them and God Bless My Country

And, May God have Mercy on Coulter's soul when she's asking not to burn in the fires of Hell for her outrageous and compassion-lacking statements. I hope she enjoys the bucks she makes on this book. I can only hope it is the last we'll hear from her.

Oh, and just because sometimes I'm a heartless bitch, I'm selling
