I support NPR and PBS. We need them. Add in the fact that this country wastes billions of dollars a year on tax breaks for the rich and oil companies. We can certainly come up with enough money to support Big Bird and friends!

NPR and PBS should be saved for the good work they do. And especially PBS for it's children programming but to receive tax payer dollars they both should be better at being more middle of the road and less to the left. I think more people would support the two programs if they balanced out programs from the left and right.
